Martyn Bridges outlines why hydrogen could the heating fuel of the future

There is a lot of talk in government – not just in ours, but across the world – on decarbonisation. On how we can remove or reduce carbon emissions from our energy usage. Steps are already being taken, for example in transport, where electric and hybrid cars are more common and accessible. However, there is one essential part of everyone’s life that is proving more difficult – heat and hot water. The main area that installers make their living. Now there is no simple answer to what replaces gas in the long term, but it is looking more and more likely that hydrogen gas could and should be a good replacement fuel. Let’s take a closer look…
